The RCMP has completed its initial assessment of the materials forwarded by ICBC in regard to a recently received complaint.

The RCMP Commercial Crime Section has conducted a review of the information package provided, and as a result has determined that a police investigation is warranted. The aim of this investigation is to ascertain whether or not any offences have been committed.

The RCMP is cognizant of public concerns in regard to this matter and will ensure, as always, that a complete and thorough investigation is conducted.
