2009-64744 **UPDATE**
Further to the earlier media release reporting James "Jim" BLACK missing from his home on December 23, 2009.
On December 23, 2009 at approximately 03:30 pm the truck BLACK was believed to be driving (2005 Burgundy Toyota Tundra) was located unoccupied in the 5000 Block of Chute Lake Road. An extensive search of the area was immediately conducted by the RCMP Police Dog Service along with Search and Rescue. The search ended at 03:30 am and is to be resumed at 07:00 am, with further anticipated assistance from the RCMP Air Section helicopter. The RCMP also attended door to door of the homes that were in the local area of where the truck was located in the hopes BLACK might have wandered into their yard.
The RCMP are asking people in the area of Chute Lake Road to check their yards and any outbuildings them may have on their property in the event BLACK may have been trying to seek shelter from the cold. Again his description is as follows:
Caucasian, 61 years old, 5'9" tall, 165 lbs, balding with a moustache; wearing a Navy Jacket with white stripes on the side, Navy pyjamas and white runners. He may also be bleeding or have bleed from a head injury.
