Penticton RCMP Crime Reduction Unit has recently made 4 arrests in connection with the Nov 1, 2009 Robbery of the Gray Sage Liquor Store in Okanagan Falls, B.C. On November 1, 2009, at 9:28 P.M., two native males, each wearing a balaclava entered the Gray Sage Liquor Store. The first male grabbed a case of beer while the second male approached the clerk with a cannister of bear spray and demanded cash from the clerk. The clerk handed over some cash and the two males fled on foot. Further investigation of the incident has resulted in two adult males and two teenage females being arrested . Lawrence Jordan BROWN, 19 years of age of Penticton was arrested and charged with Robbery and Disguise with intent and appeared in Penticton Provincial Court on Nov 17 and plead guilty to the charges. He was given a jail sentence of 2 years plus a day. The other adult male and the two teenage girls also arrested in connection with this incident have been released from custody on Robbery charges and will be appearing in court at a later date.
