The North Vancouver RCMP investigation has discovered that the found Specialized Cross Trail mountain bike was likely sold from a bike shop in Vancouver. The buyer of the bike may live in the West Vancouver area and be a physically fit, polished Caucasian male, possibly in his 50's.

The North Vancouver RCMP is seeking the public's help to identify the owner of a black and red Specialized mountain bike that has been left locked up at the base of Grouse Mountain for a number of days.

There is a concern that it may belong to a hiker who has not returned.
